About
I am a DevOps engineer in Ho Chi Minh City, currently interning at DIGI-TEXX and finishing a software engineering degree at the Vietnam Academy of Cryptography Techniques.
Most of what I enjoy sits between "the code is written" and "the code is running safely in production": build pipelines, image signing and admission control, secrets that applications reference instead of carry, GitOps so the repository is the only way to change a cluster, and enough observability that a problem announces itself rather than waiting to be discovered.
I learn by building the whole thing. My thesis project stood up a three-node bare-metal Kubernetes cluster with Ansible and then made it refuse to run any image it could not verify — because reading about SLSA and enforcing it turn out to be quite different exercises.
Now
- DevOps intern at DIGI-TEXX — Vault, External Secrets Operator, GitLab CI, Argo CD.
- Working through the CKA.
- Finishing the software engineering degree; graduating September 2026.
Languages
- Vietnamese — Native
- English — Professional working proficiency
what I'm looking for
Graduating September 2026. Looking for a full-time DevOps / Platform role from October 2026.
- roles
- DevOps Engineer · Platform Engineer · Site Reliability Engineer · Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer
- location
- Ho Chi Minh City — onsite or hybrid
- remote
- Remote works for teams within about three hours of UTC+7
- available
- From October 2026, full-time. Happy to talk before then.
what I want the work to be
- Owning delivery end to end — pipeline, infrastructure, and the thing that pages when it breaks.
- Kubernetes and IaC as the day job, not as a side quest someone does on Fridays.
- A team that treats supply-chain security and secrets management as engineering, not paperwork.
- Somebody more senior than me to review my Terraform and tell me why it is wrong.
what it is not
- Frontend-primary roles — I can read the code, I do not want to own the product surface.
- Unpaid work, or "DevOps" that turns out to mean manual deploys and a shared root password.
